What Should I Expect During My Initial Consultation?

For your first visit to our office, the Functional Health Management Score must be completed!  It will include a thorough consultation to assess your current condition and desired goals or health minimums. Treatments will be determined based on your unique needs. During this appointment, you can expect:

A thorough chiropractic exam.

This may involve palpation of various areas throughout your body, posture analysis, range of motion, muscle testing a pertinent life history, and a series of questions to diagnose your condition and determine your needs. Other types of diagnostic testing may also be included or referred out in this exam.

An initial treatment

Depending on the chiropractic findings and the results of your exam, you may receive an adjustment or soft tissue manipulation during your first appointment.

TAKE HOME ADVICE

As part of your treatment plan, we will give you advice for maintaining the results of your adjustment or take-home exercises to enhance the treatment and maintain your improved range of motion.
